Firearms Training Classes Offered at Take Aim Gun Range

Concealed Weapon/Firearm License

We offer a concealed weapon/firearm class that fulfills the requirements for obtaining a Florida resident or non-resident license. This class covers Florida concealed carry laws, firearm safety, storage, maintenance and shooting fundamentals for different types of handguns. The class is currently scheduled every Wednesday at 6:30 Pm and Saturday at 10:00 Am, only one class session is required, it takes about 3 ½ hours and cost $70.00.

Private Lessons

Self-defense training with NRA instructor Mike Magowan, Develop your skills with handguns, shotguns, and rifles from basic to advanced techniques. Lessons are customized to fit your needs and are by appointment only, cost is $70.00 per hour.

Veritas Training Academy

V.T.A. Offers dynamic courses that include presentation and movement, point shooting, instinctive shooting low-light shooting, engaging multiple targets and one-hand shooting. We also offer women only classes including our Women With Weapons course. The WWW class is designed to empower women, teaching the basics of handgun, shotgun and carbine rifle use for self defense. If you are trying to decide on what fits your needs best, a very good selection of weapons are available to try out, at a very reasonable fee. The range lanes are always clean with a good air filtration system in place. I try to go at least twice a month and always have a good experience. Outstanding Gun store and Gun Range! Very friendly and well informed & Knowledgeable Family run Range. Plenty of space for all your shooting. They have a 5 shot try out / see how it fits, test drive the gun before you purchase program which is a wonderful way of fitting the Firearm to you instead of buying one & learning to fit you into the firearm. They have classes available and special days through the week like Monday's competition and Thursday is Lady's day. Family friendly and a Great Location make this my Top Gun Range!

My wife and I love this place. Take Aim has a friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. Mike Magowan is the best trainer I know, and Peter is, well, Peter, and we love them both. Very family oriented, calm atmosphere (for a gun range), and their prices aren't bad either. Check them out, and fire a few rounds while you are there.
