Relying on the bullpup expertise of the aftermarket design gurus over at Manticore Arms, the Scorpion Bullpup Kit has been a project long in the making. Able to convert any Scorpion over to a bullpup configuration, it reuses trigger components of the gun being converted and condenses the Scorpion down to an even smaller package. The ideal candidate for conversion is the Scorpion Carbine, and the bullpup chassis ties into our standard Carbine handguard as well as Manticore‚s and HB Industries’ long handguards. With the addition of one of those handguards, Scorpion pistols can be converted as well, though doing so with a barrel length less than 16 will require proper paperwork/tax stamp and conversion of the pistol to an SBR. For those who will want to modify their Scorpion Bullpup, it retains the ability to take aftermarket grips, trigger shoes, charging handles and magazine releases. Letting the online community design their ideal upland shotgun, this fine side-by-side was created by popular vote, with each and every aspect determined by the many followers of Project Upland. The resulting gun resembles the best-selling Bobwhite G2, but with some key upgrades! Most apparent is the elevated wood quality in the form of select grade Turkish walnut. The color case finish, decorative side plates and tasteful hand-engraving are borrowed from our Sharp-Tail model, while the English-style straight grip and double triggers remain true to the Bobwhites design, as do the splinter forend, 28” barrels and five flush chokes. While this model doesn’t depart drastically from the Bobwhite G2 its built off of, those small changes add up to make a premium side-by-side, and a good-looking one at that!
Co-designed by the Project Upland online community, this great-looking over/under builds on our tried-and-true Redhead Premier and adds a number of small changes as well as the addition of Select Grade Turkish Walnut. Building on the one-piece CNCed ejector over/under action, this special model shares many of the standard features of the Redhead, to include single trigger, pistol grip, solid mid-rib, vented top rib, silver chrome receiver and black chrome barrels. Adding to those are the fine select grade furniture, our patent-pending magnetic chamber, the upland-style forend borrowed from our Drake model, a brass front bead and a vented recoil pad. As with the standard Redhead Premier, this model ships with five flush-mount chokes.
The latest evolution in the semi-automatic shotgun line, the 1012 uses a gas-less inertia operating system. Instead of redirecting gas from the barrel to run the action, the 1012 uses a spring within the bolt to store energy during the shotgun’s recoil, spending this energy a split second later to rotate and unlock the twin lugs from the barrel extension and withdraw the spent shell. The major advantage of an inertia system is the less stringent maintenance schedule. Unlike gas guns that need periodic cleaning of the piston and magazine tube, the 1012’s needs are vastly fewer. During our testing, we pushed 1012s to 5,000 rounds without a drop of oil or cleaning of any sort, while experiencing zero parts breakage or malfunctions. In normal field use, the occasional cleaning and oiling should be more than enough. Additionally, the gas-less system itself is tuned to run a wider variety of shells – from light-recoiling target loads up to the smoking hot 3 magnums currently on the market. The CZ 720 is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun built on a lightweight alloy receiver. Chambered to accept both 2 3/4 and 3 shells, the 720 can be had with 26 or 28 barrels, making it a great choice for both upland game and waterfowl. With a chrome-lined bore and black hard chrome exterior finish, the 720 will resist corrosion after many seasons in the field. The Turkish walnut furniture is built with a 14 1/2 length of pull and right-hand cast off.
Clad in OD Green and walnut – these shotguns stand out without being ostentatious. The muted green Cerakote finish makes them ideal for field work, increasing their hardiness and making them near impervious to the elements. The stand-out feature of this series of scatterguns is a small but revolutionary addition to the ejector/extractor of the break-open variants. To make them more ideal for use in a duck blind or while handling dogs and equipment in the field, each of the All-Terrain over/unders and side-by-sides has a set of rare earth magnets installed in their extractor or ejectors. With these magnets in place, most modern shells are retained in the gun even when the gun is turned upside down. This makes loading them easy in a pit blind or boat, and never will a dog-handler accidentally dump shells out of their gun while bending over to work with their dog. Equipped with sling swivels and extended chokes, these shotguns are ready to chase birds – from doves and ducks to turkeys and grouse!
If it weren’t for the endcap, this suppressor would be completely unnoticeable - that is until the trigger is pulled. Then it still might go unnoticed, since with sub-sonic ammo the loudest report will be that of the striker falling. Built into one of the standard 455 Varmint barrels, it utilizes a patented screw-in baffle system. Using the included tool, the owner can thread the baffles in to pre-designated locations within the forward threaded suppressor portion of the barrel. If they wish, they can tune baffle lengths to their liking, finding just the right combination for their load of choice. Baffles and endcap are cut from 7075 aluminum, meaning between the hollowing out of the barrel and the lightweight suppressor components, the .866 diameter Varmint barrel experiences some weight loss while still measuring in at 20.9. A unique (and patented) baffle thread cuts through accumulated crud for regular cleanings, which is recommended to be done every 300 rounds due to the dirty nature of rimfire ammuniti
A further evolution of CZ’s offerings with the Omega trigger system, the new P-01 Omega Convertible allows users to swap from decocker to safety operation in the same manner as the popular P-07/P-09 pistols. Using the same simplified, more robust variation of the 75’s trigger system as the previous Omega, trigger parts use an interlocking design that allows for easy disassembly and reassembly without the need for tools.
